Feasibility assessment

A feasibility assessment is conducted to identify whether it is appropriate to combine data from multiple trials for the purpose of indirect treatment comparison. This is qualitative assessment focused on:

  1. The existence of a connected network of evidence linking the comparisons of interest; there may be different networks for different outcomes.
  2. The similarity of the studies included in the network – in terms of study design, patient characteristics, and the specific treatments administered.
