Innovative Medicines Fund (UK NHS)
The Innovative Medicines Fund (IMF) was designed based on the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) to expand managed access to non-cancer medicines. The IMF provides routes to faster patient access while further data can be collected, ensuring that treatment using the latest health technologies can begin without delay. The recommendation for the IMF is made on the provision that it is plausible that the new intervention could be cost effective, and further data would help to answer that question.
