Project Director

Jo is a Project Director at YHEC with over two decades of experience in public health within the NHS and local government. Since joining YHEC, she has been involved in over 70 economic evaluations across a wide range of areas, including cancer services, primary care systems, and health policy programs.

With an MSc in Population Health from the University of York and a history as a registered UK Public Health Specialist (UKPHR, 2008 to 2018), Jo has an extensive background in public health. She has previously held senior public health roles in the NHS and local government, and also brings experience in healthcare commissioning and service redesign in complex health and social care environments.

Jo finds it most rewarding to show clients the utility of health economics and to deliver high-quality models and reports that are directly applicable in real-world settings. She offers a valuable public health perspective and leadership skills to multidisciplinary teams.
