He has acquired expertise in the best ways to address the submission requirements for multiple HTA agencies around the world, including for EU JCA, NICE, SMC, NCPE, CDA and others. His disease area experience includes oncology, rare diseases, respiratory conditions, wound healing and others, and Tom has conducted pragmatic and fully systematic reviews in a range of topics including clinical, economic, quality of life, diagnostic and prognostic topics. Tom has worked extensively on pharmaceutical as well as med tech projects.

Tom enjoys working on projects that have tangible and meaningful outputs particularly those that progress decision making or inform new avenues for research. Tom is also keen to interrogate existing processes and methodologies in order to find new ways to conduct reliable and pertinent research in ways that stand up to real-world constraints.
