Rapid review

Rapid reviews (also referred to as targeted reviews) are forms of accelerated evidence synthesis in which aspects of the typical systematic review processes are streamlined or omitted. The search may be more targeted and search fewer resources compared with a systematic review. Study selection and data extraction may be undertaken by a single reviewer with a sample checked. Risk of bias may be omitted.
