Digital health is a rapidly growing healthcare sector, with new technologies entering the market at pace. With potentially multiple technologies being produced for similar and novel indications, it can be challenging to identify technologies that are likely to benefit the health system.
This half-day training course introduces key concepts of evaluating digital health technologies with a focus on sector-specific challenges. The session will provide an overview of the market entry options for digital health technologies and the pros/cons associated with these. It will also include an outline of the early value assessment (EVAs) and late-stage assessment (LSAs) processes operated by NICE.
