This is often through reimbursement and pricing. This comprehensive, one-day course provides you with the essential knowledge and practical skills to build a successful HTA dossier from the UK NICE perspective.
We'll guide you through every stage of the process, from understanding the different types of HTA and key stakeholders, to mastering alternative appraisal routes for technologies like medical devices.
You'll get detailed, practical advice on how to effectively report the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness data required for a robust submission. We'll share recent, real-world examples across various disease areas to show you exactly what works. The course also covers the specific language and terminology you need to use to communicate your evidence clearly and persuasively.
Looking ahead, we'll discuss the latest initiatives, such as those from the ISPOR HTA task force, and how these developments will impact the future of HTA dossier development. This training course is designed for professionals who need to understand and navigate the UK’s HTA process, particularly in the context of building a submission dossier. This may include:

YHEC’s training courses are not recorded. However, the slides will be shared with those who attended the session.
All of YHEC’s courses have limited places available to ensure that sessions permit discussion and interaction with the group. We can also offer bespoke training courses to accommodate a larger number of attendees.
As of 2020, all of YHEC’s training courses will be held virtually. If you would prefer to attend a face-to-face course, we can provide a bespoke training course held at your preferred location.
The course fee (less 10% administrative charge) will be refunded for cancellations received in writing at least one month prior to the training. Substitutes can be made, but please email the new attendee details to [email protected].
Cancellations made less than one month prior to the study day are not refundable. In the unlikely event that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the training course has to be cancelled, only the course fees will be refunded.
