This interactive model is intended for decision makers and employers to understand and evaluate the potential economic and wellbeing interactions when planning a new mental wellbeing workplace intervention. The model is designed to be flexible, allowing organisations to include their own specific inputs. The model will not provide a definitive decision on whether to implement an intervention in the workplace, but it provides a user-friendly tool to support decision making that can be used in conjunction with other information.

The model was originally developed in 2022 for NICE Public Health Guidance (NG212) and is provided by York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) for general informational purposes only. The model and its default inputs reflect our own assumptions at the time of release. Users may download the model and adjust inputs to suit their own circumstances. However, any modifications made by users are their own responsibility and must not be represented as being reviewed, validated, approved, or endorsed by YHEC. YHEC makes no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of results generated using this model, whether with the default inputs or with user-modified inputs. All outputs should be interpreted with caution and should not be relied upon as professional advice. By downloading or using this model, you agree that YHEC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequences arising from the use of the model or from any alterations you make to it.
